I don't know if there is anything more magical than an evening with my babies under the glow of the Christmas lights around our home. This time of the year is truly wonderful and it feels like it is beginning to slip through my fingers as we inch closer to Christmas day. I love these moments and these sweet babies so much.
If you are coming over from Nesting with Grace, welcome! I am so happy to have you here.
As much as I love the sunshine and light coming into my windows during the day, I always look forward to the evenings when we can turn on all of the Christmas lights and lamps and snuggle by the glow of the fireplace while we read our Christmas books. With 3 littles ages 6 and under (and another one on the way in the next couple weeks!), our home can be pretty loud and crazy sometimes. We are so blessed to have these magical little moments during this time of the year.
These battery operated candles flicker like real ones and are on a timer so I don't have to turn them off and on each night. You can download this free O Holy Night printable HERE.
Christmas jammies and little toes... it doesn't get any cuter.
I kept my table simple for the past few weeks with just these cake plates topped with candles. I added a bowl of nuts and a nutcracker. Both my hubby and I have fond memories of our grandma's homes having these out each Christmas. The tutorial for tying and hanging my wreaths is HERE.
My Christmas tree decorating and ribbon tips how- to videos are HERE.
This little man and his blankie. Sometimes I look at him and I just want to freeze him. I love that the kids are always just as excited as I am about decorating for Christmas- and they love to turn on the twinkle lights at night like I do. I love the feeling it brings to our home.
And my sweet helper, always making things pretty.
Children really ARE the magic of Christmas.
I hope you have a magical and merry Christmas with your loved ones! Wish me luck as we welcome our sweet baby girl- I couldn't be more excited.
