It has been POURING here since yesterday so I decided to tarp my garden last night before bed so the roots of my baby plants wouldn’t drown. Well.... at 3 in the morning I heard a loud noise outside and went to check on my babies (plants) and the tarp (and the swimming pool on top of it) came crashing down into the garden. 🤦🏻‍♀️ You should’ve seen me out there battling this tarp, barefoot, at 3 AM in my jammies, in a monsoon (ok that might be a little dramatic). I must have woke him in all the commotion because my hubby came out, half asleep, with that “what in the world is my wife up to now” sort of look. 😲🤣 I woke up this morning looking a little like a wild animal with very big hair 🦁😂. Anyhow, 👆🏻these jar shelves in our kitchen have been a lifesaver during the stay-at-home order! I’ll put a link for you to read more about them in my stories!

Several weeks ago I noticed little sunflowers popp

Several weeks ago I noticed little sunflowers popping up all over the garden and my little guy said, “I know! I planted them!” I guess he found a packet of seeds. I wanted to be able to grow more in the garden than just sunflowers, so we kept a few and dug up the rest and he had himself a little sale today. Our friends and neighbors were so good to him and he was so proud of what he grew! It was precious. And yes, my other little guy dressed himself. He was so proud of doing all those buttons. There have been many sweet things about this extra time with the littles and I’m glad life is starting to feel a little more normal. 🌱

My snowballs are so big and pretty this year! They feel like such a gift, especially this year. My lilacs are starting to bloom too and we will be planting the garden this weekend. I’m in heaven. 🌱

These blooms are still going strong after cutting them off of our tree over a week ago! One of the many beautiful gifts of Spring that I am thankful for this year. Yes, it’s a huge flower arrangement but it made the whole kitchen happier. Definitely “go big or go home” on this one. 🤣💓

I think I’ll be moving the littles out to my she shed today for homeschool. Just trying to keep things interesting and fun around here. As scary and hard as all of this has been for our family, my kids seem to be thriving and happy and that means everything to me. By some miracle, they have been getting along so well and just seem happier. They ask for snacks nonstop, but at least there is less arguing 🤷🏻‍♀️🤪🤣🤦🏻‍♀️. #silverlining #sheshed #shed @tuffshed
