This flocked Christmas tree is effortlessly elegant, decorated in shades of white, clear, silver and a little bit of blue. In keeping with the traditional Christmas colors theme, little pops of red were added to the room with gift wrapping and ribbon.
We are still busy little bees over here, decorating our home for Christmas. It is such a fun and magical time for us and we are having so much fun. The little ones are being big helpers and I am loving the warm glow of lights at night.

I haven't ever put a tree in my office before, but I have always wanted to. This is the front window of our home and I just love how festive the tree makes our home look from the street.
I set up a little gift wrapping station as we typically use this room to hide and wrap presents during the Christmas season. It isn't anything fancy, just some neutral wrapping papers, and ribbons I have collected over the years, set out on my workbench. It is nice having them ready to go!
For the tree in this room, I wanted to keep it very subtle and understatedly elegant so I used mostly mercury glass and white glass ornaments. This tree has such a calming and peaceful feel. I added the smallest pop of color with sprigs of blue berries and love the contrast. I wanted to still have a nod to the traditional Christmas colors in the rest of the house, so I incorporated those in the ribbons and gift wrap.
I added a little garland skirt to my vintage dress form. Doesn't she look festive? I should probably add some cute Christmas chalkboard art to this board, but the kids love to draw on here, so I will probably just leave it for them.
Once I begin to pull out our Christmas decorations, all of the little voices in our home say, "Momma, can I help!?" They love to help me pull my trees together.
Here are some more tree details. I think this color palette is so peaceful. I added rolled up sheet music that I tied with ribbon I had in my stash. I actually made them for the tree in my room last year, but they felt perfect out here this year.
I have had these chairs for a few years now- one in my bedroom and one in the shed. I will probably pull the other one out and put it in here too. I love the idea of sitting here, sipping cocoa with my love after we put the littles to bed.

Just thought I would show you what the opposite wall looks like. I added my faux paper whites. I want to repot them into antique dishes, but haven't done it yet.

So elegant and pretty Kristen - and I love the rolled up music! What a cute touch! I think if this faces the street, you should do a tree in here every year now:)
