I am so honored and thrilled to be a part of Jen Rizzo's holiday housewalk again this year! I am so excited to share my Christmas home with you today, so I hope you are ok with a whole lot of pictures and inspiration! If you would like to start the Housewalk from the beginning, you can start at Jennifer Rizzo's site HERE. If you are coming from Unskinny Boppy's gorgeous tour, welcome !
I truly feel honored to have you here today. It always surprises me that more people than just my mom read this blog. I am humbled by your kindness to me. I have such a passion for decorating and Christmas and I LOVE this season. I hope you enjoy this little peek into my holiday home!
I am mostly just going to share pictures today, but I have a whole boat load of detailed posts and tutorials coming up with so many of the projects, Christmas trees, printables, art, etc that you will see. I hope I see you back for all of the fun!
My brother in law took these amazing pictures and it was so fun to watch him work. His pictures are the ones without watermarks and mine are all watermarked. You can visit him on his site here: Nathaniel Ray Photography. I am so thankful for his willingness to answer my millions of photography questions and for his talent and eye.
I love the combination of the reds and creams, mixed with mercury glass, mixed with some natural elements for my Christmas decor. There is something so festive and homey about the color combination and it just makes me happy to decorate with it each year. I love the way our new stockings look on the mantel, and you can see all of the details in my post HERE.
When I was a little girl, I used to love going to my dear friend's home at Christmas time because her mom would always have the most beautiful vintagey flocked Christmas trees and I always knew that I wanted that in my home someday. I love the sparkle, the warmth and the cheer it brings to our home for the holidays. For more details, sources etc. about my trees, you can visit my Christmas tree decorating tips & tricks, and my 10 tips for beautiful Christmas tree ribbon posts.
We are still loving these comfy and gorgeous couches from Wayfair. You can see my full post HERE, but I have to say that there is nothing like snuggling my babies on this big sofa under the lights of the Christmas tree. Our whole little family fits right here on the sofa and it is like a little piece of heaven. I know I will cherish these moment forever.
I buy cranberries and pomegranates every year to use in our meals and for decoration. I love their rich color.
I added some festive touches to the kitchen and dining room, which you can see HERE. I will be doing more detailed posts on some of the things in the upcoming week.
You can download this free printable advent calendar HERE.
I love the view from my kitchen. It almost makes me like doing the dishes. Almost.
In our entryway, I combined a mix of natural elements and items that I had on hand.
Right next to the entryway is our office that I am still in the process of making over. I love the way my tinsel tree looks in here. The theme of this tree is more on the vintage side with lots of book pages, german glass glitter, paper snowflakes, and lush ribbon.
I will have the template for this chalkboard Nativity scene up on the blog this weekend as well as a free printable chalkboard version for anyone who would like to add it to their Christmas decor this year,
Ella has a little tree in her room that she gets to decorate (and redecorate a hundred times) however she wants. Of course she was into the pink and sparkles!
I love my girl.
Up in our bonus room/ family room I wanted to add more of a cozy/sweater/snow feel.
I am so thankful for the little baby who was born in a humble manger all of those years ago. I am thankful for my sweet babies as I tell them the story of the babe born in Bethlehem. I am thankful for the magical, wonderful opportunity to share the season with them each year as we celebrate the true meaning of Christmas. What a blessing.
This Printable nativity will also be up on the blog this next week.
For this tree, I used a mix of natural elements, wooden snowflakes, a snowball garland (tutorial coming next week) ribbon, mercury glass and of course the gorgeous flocked tree from Balsam Hill. I am in LOVE with this tree. I put it in an old antique wooden box that I stole from my mom (busted!). I thought it would be fun to set up the play tent I made for Ella here next to the tree and I made a little gray pom pom garland to match (tutorial also coming). This is our family area and a very kid-friendly space so I wanted it to feel cozy and comfortable.
I added a few Christmas touches to our bedroom as well. Greens, vintage ornaments, and a red striped duvet all help to make the room feel very festive. It is the perfect Christmas retreat.
You can see the post about decorating the chandelier HERE.
Thank you so much for visiting our Christmas home tour. It was such an honor to have you here. I hope you will come back to visit in the upcoming weeks to get all of the details and tutorials of the things you saw! In the meantime, you can follow me on Instagram where I love to hang out!
The next stop in the tour is the gorgeous home of Number Fifty-Three. You will love it!
I hope you enjoy the rest of the tour. Thank you, again, for visiting!

Oh my... Gorgeousness!! Your home is exactly the type of holiday home I dream to achieve one day! I'm like you in the sense that I decorate the way some of my friends homes were decorated when I was a kid--it's what I dreamed for! Gorgeous job on it all!

A cozier, more beautifully detailed Christmas home could not be found. This is over the moon making me happy right now to look at. Love all of your creative ideas...especially the books on your table! And your tree...well there are just no words. Love seeing the kids' space too...the little nativity...omg too cute. Seriously my friend, this is just incredible.

I could sit by that tree all season, how calming. Usually I put up at least 3-4 trees but this year struggling with 2, what great inspiration. I am working on my house tour and better get busy. Is that tree in the living room real? If not where can I get one? Real doesn't do well in Phoenix.
Vanessa
Everything looks absolutely gorgeous!! I'm so thrilled to be part of the housewalk with you! 🙂
