I almost forgot to post this little Valentine project with you! These Valentine Marshmallow Pops are so easy and yummy. And just like the cookies {here} my little Ella has renamed them "princess pops." She had so much fun helping me to make them!
You will need:
1 pkg. strawberry flavored marshmallows
cake pop sticks {I picked these up at Walmart last summer in the wedding craft aisle}
1 pkg. vanilla baking chips
1 tbsp. oil
sprinkles
First, stick your marshmallows on the end of your sticks.
Melt your baking chips and oil over a double boiler or in the microwave. I usually stick my chips and oil in a bowl, pop it in the microwave, and stop to stir every 20 seconds or so. I remove from the microwave completely when the baking chips are mostly melted, and then stir vigorously until they finish melting. This prevents over cooking.
Next, you just dip your marshmallows in the melted vanilla chips, lay out on parchment paper and add sprinkles. Easy peasy.
The vanilla hardens nicely when completely cooled (which may take an hour or so). I store mine in a gallon size ziploc bag and they last a long time.
Perfect for your Valentine... or your princess :).

Ah I love these they look awesome! Is there any alternative to the vanilla chips? Like could I melt white chocolate and add vanilla or something? My local store doesn't sell vanilla chips, I live in the UK
