Vintage landscape paintings are a timeless decoration for fall with colorful autumn leaves, trees, rich toned pastoral scenes, and harvests in the countryside. These 12 free printables are as beautiful as they are budget friendly.
One of the layers I love to incorporate into my seasonal and holiday decorating each year, aside from our tradition of making homemade autumn leaf luminaries, is vintage artwork- usually in the form of free printables. Free Printable Fall Candle Wraps and for harvest time, Free Printable Vintage Vegetable Art are a couple favorites.
When looking ahead to the holidays, I have a whole bunch of Christmas printables to make things festive as well. It is always fun to plan and collect ahead of time.
Oil and Watercolor Mediums
All of these fall landscapes are true vintage/antique works of art and are in the public domain. Most of these printables are oil or watercolor and have aged so beautifully over time.
I have enhanced a couple of them to help with the clarity that was lost with age.
Tips to Print and Frame Fall Landscape Paintings
- First, find your frame that you would like to use.
- Print each of the desired fall landscape paintings through the links listed below. You may need to adjust the percentage in print settings to make it the right size.
- I printed them on regular printer paper using my home printer, but it would be even prettier on textured paper or card stock. Using a copy store would be an even better quality and still very inexpensive.
- I used thrifted vintage and older frames which have so much character. For a more modern look, try a more modern style of frame.
- I painted the mat on one of my old frames to make it match better. You could also cover it in paper or replace the mat with a new one.
Fall Landscape printables really are easy and inexpensive to make.

Decorating with Fall Landscape Paintings
Fall landscapes don't have to only hang on a wall. I put one of mine on a metal easel and a wood one would be cute too. I just set one of the smaller ones in a basket on my kitchen counter and it is a sweet little moment.
They can really be displayed or tucked anywhere.
