- printable vellum
- printer- laser or injket
- candles- I used these white 4.5 ounce candles and these 11 ounce candles
- double sided tape
- paper cutter or scissors
These candle wraps can be used on any candles that are a similar in size. I prefer these unscented white ones, but there are so many other candles to choose from.
Note- My personal printer didn't like printing on the vellum so I just taped it to a regular piece of printer paper (across the top) and it worked perfectly.

Step Two: Cut Out the Candle Wraps
Using a paper cutter or scissors, cut out the printable candle wraps.
Step Three: Add Double Sided Tape to the Back
Lay the candle wrap face down and add double sided tape to the back side before attaching it to the candle. I put strips on the left and right side of the strip before adhering it to the candle. It doesn't really need any more than that and if you put it on the top and bottom it can bunch and crease.
Step Four: Secure
Wrap the label around the middle of the candle, securing in back with the double sided tape.
Remember, it doesn't have to be perfect, so try not to get too hung up on if it is exactly in the right place.
Candle Wrap Tips and Tricks
- If you have a larger or smaller candle, just adjust your ratio in your print preview before printing.
- My personal printer didn't like printing on the vellum so I just taped the vellum sheet to a regular piece of printer paper (across the top) and it worked perfectly.
- Make these ahead of time and use at each place setting for your Thanksgiving table for a classy and beautiful table. Add a Floral arrangement for another beautiful touch.
- If there is a taper to the candle, just make a small pleat in the back where it won't be noticeable.
Will Vellum Paper burn?
Vellum will degrade in contact with a flame, but not burn- according to my research. It seems that it is perfect to use as a candle wrap. But, as a disclaimer, please make sure you do your own research before making these candle wraps.
Fall Decorating with Candles
I love decorating with fall candles. When the days begin to shorten and the air begins to feel crisp, there is something so warm and inviting about a beautiful fall candle.
I think they feel a little nostalgic to me.
I don't seem to use candles much the rest of the year, but during the fall and holiday season, I do use them.
You will love this magical fall candlelight inspiration from some of my oh so talented friends. They make everything beautiful.
