We are kicking off our Holiday Series tomorrow with some Fall kitchen goodness, so I thought I would share a little sneak peek of my Autumn home decor color scheme for this year- copper, burgundy, deep purple, burnt orange, and white. These warm Fall tones just make my heart skip a beat. They are so warm and inviting and yummy, don't you think?
We have plum trees that line the streets of our neighborhood and one day I was thinking just how beautiful the purple branches would be in a Fall arrangement with all of the other deep Autumn colors. Then I remembered some vintage plates I had that would match so beautifully. It is not the most typical Fall color scheme, but I love it.
I have had these plates for probably 15 years now. I bought them at a thrift store and loved the unique colors so much that I held onto them ever since. They are called "Autumn's Delight" which is very fitting.
I hope you come back tomorrow for our Holiday Series tomorrow to see our kitchens dressed up for Fall. I am also sharing one of my very favorite Fall recipes- the most moist and delicious pumpkin spice cake with cream cheese frosting you will ever eat.
