A charming window Christmas village that is sweet in any room of your home. These hand-drawn free printable houses can be used in holiday decor, in a Christmas tree, or even as a gift topper.
Another favorite is our free printable Christmas village luminaries or our free printable Santa and reindeer luminaries. We also love this free printable nativity lantern.
I wanted to add a window Christmas village in my daughter's room to compliment her flocked Christmas tree with neutral ornaments and decor. It is a smaller room, so a window decal of sorts was a good small-space solution.
I drew these very simple, lined houses. They have some wreaths and berries and other details. Overall they are feel minimalistic, simple and childlike. They're not too trendy and can be dressed up or down to suit your decor.
My sweet girl loves it and I am so happy. I wanted to share it with you in case you had a window that needed a little love, too.
She is already planning on making a few more.
Other Ideas for this Window Christmas Village
There are a few different ways you could use this free printable.
- Print off multiple sheets of Christmas houses and make it bigger/longer
- Use it on a mantel with battery operated candles behind it
- Children could color it with some colored pencils to make it their own
- Use it to wrap around the outside of a gift for unique Christmas gift wrapping
- Print out to put in windows in a nursing home
Supplies
- Download and print the free printable Christmas village
- 11x17 size
- 81/2 x 11 page size (will print onto 2 pages- page 1, page 2)
- tape or other adhesive
- greenery, twinkle lights, or any other decorations (optional)
I added two different file options. One prints on an 11x17 sheet of paper. If you can't print that size at home, you can print it on most machines at the copy store. This is the most ideal option so there won't be any seams.
The second file size is 81/2 x 11, which needs to be printed onto 2 pages. These sheets will need to be taped together in the middle when assembling. This is an easy option to print at home if you don't mind the seam.
Tip- if you have any tape residue on the window after removing your Christmas village later on, just use lemon oil to remove.
I didn't keep the candles in her room, of course, but I did keep the twinkle lights.
I hope you love this free printable Christmas village!
