I took down my Christmas decorations a few days ago. It is pretty normal for me to wait until the middle of January, which I know is a lot later than most people. I just love Christmas so much, and I tend to want the feeling to last a bit longer.
I was kind of bummed after everything was down, so I bought myself some pretty flowers while I was at the grocery store.
It definitely did the trick.
I can't believe it has been almost 2 years since we renovated the kitchen after that water damage. I get asked all of the time what kind of granite and where we bought the faucet, so in case you are wondering... the granite is called Ornamental, and the Faucet is from Amazon- you can see it HERE (affiliate link). We did have to order a new knob a couple of months ago because one of ours cracked and eventually broke, but porcelain will do that. They also have metal knob options if you don't want to deal with that. I think they are so cute that they are worth it, but not everyone will. Also, the paint color of our Cabinets is Nacre from Sherwin Williams.
I really love the valentine colors. Maybe because it is a good excuse to get girly with some pink?
I have been working on decluttering an area of my home every day this month. Just small things, but added up, it has made a big impact overall. It makes a nice clean canvas for pulling out all of the decorations I put away when I decorated for Christmas.
P.S. I am so excited to share my Master bedroom makeover with you on Wednesday!! So many fun changes :).

I still have my light over the dining room table decorated. I absolutely love the way it looks and I hate to remove it. I have to do it this week because I want to put some hearts up there but I truly hate taking it down.
