Oh my goodness, here is so GORGEOUS eye candy for you today! Jamie is completely amazing and I know you will love her style as much as I do!
I'm so excited to be here today! I'm Jamie from So Much Better With Age. I absolutely adore French & vintage decor and I just adore Kristen and her gorgeous blog.
Today I'm bringing spring into your home with a little fun craft: springtime floral crowns.
With minimal supplies, you can create these adorable crowns to decorate anything with around your home.
Let me show you how I did it.
I like crafts that use minimal supplies and are easy to do but with big impact.
Start with some faux flowers and small grapevine wreaths.
I cut off all the floral parts and used wired for the green flowers (yep, green flowers. I have no idea of their name).
I used a bit of floral wire and wrapped it around each end of the green flower stems and tucked them into the grapevine.
Five were used for each crown. I used a dab of hot glue in the middle of each one to make it curve.
I made each crown slightly different. Adding the flowers with hot glue is the fun part.
Glue and stick flowers in as you see fit.
I couldn't wait to add them to my antlers.
Antlers seem so winter-y to me so it's fun to liven them up a bit.
And my trophies..
And an old typewriter.
You can pretty much decorate anything with them.
Here are more antlers dressed up for spring.
In the kitchen, I added them to my old vintage scale. Seriously, add them to anything to bring spring in your home.
I hope I inspired you to bring some spring in your home.
I'm so glad to 'meet' you!
