Spring is in the air!
I am starting to feel the itch for sure. I have spring cleaned, washed all of our bedding, put away a lot of winter things, and started to freshen up the house with pops of color here and there. I think that is the best part of having lots of whites and neutrals. It is easy to change out accents and pops of color here and there.
One of the things I love about Spring, is the hint of the warm weather to come. I guess it is exciting in the same way that the crisp Fall air makes me so anxious for the holidays. Sunshine, barbecues, camping, eating out on the patio, planting my garden and fun family time are all things I look forward to with the warmer weather.
Oh, and picnics with my babies.
I didn't have a lot of time to draw on my chalkboard this time, so I just doodled one of my favorite little sayings. It might be a little cliche, but I really believe there is no place like home. And there is nothing better than spending time with loved ones.
I posted on Instagram a few days ago that I thought that tulips were the most perfect little reward for making it through a long, cold winter. It is still too cold for our tulips, but I love when the grocery stores begin to carry them. I know that there are some of you that are still braving the snow and I hope your tulips come soon!
Ahhhhh... warm sun and cool breezes. I can't wait.
I hope you visit some of these lovely friends of mine. They all have such beautiful and inspirational spring decor to share.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Absolutely gorgeous Kristen! Your chalkboard is stunning and all of your photos are so cheerful...it actually makes me hopeful for spring even though we are supposed to get a snowstorm this week :/

I am a winter person, but even I am getting excited for spring. Your chalkboard made me giggle - my winter chalkboard had a poem, the last line being, "it is the time for home," How funny it would be to follow that with "There's no place like home". It does sum me up, and you've unintentionally reminded me to be so grateful to have a home that feels like home! Your tulips are beautiful, I was eyeballing some in the grocery store last night, but we were in a hurry. Must go back and get some! I did start picking some daffodils in my late neighbors yard yesterday, though when I stood back up from picking the first three, I realized I was almost face to face with "our" momma deer and her two babies (they live in our neighborhood), so I decided to come back for more later, haha!
