A big thank you to Betty Crocker for sponsoring this fun princess party! All opinions and styling are my own.
I am so excited to share this sweet little princess party with you today! I hope to give you a bunch of fun ideas to help you plan your upcoming parties! We are also having a GIVEAWAY, so be sure to scroll past all of the fun party pictures. Having a 3 year old little girl, it's all princesses all the time around here, and I absolutely love it. I may love to build things and get dirty out in my garden, but my inner girly girl just eats all of this up.
She melts me. Ella and I played around with these fun free party printables from Betty Crocker. When it comes time to decorate for birthday parties, those printable packages can be pretty spendy... especially if you purchase similar ones at party supply stores. I love that these are absolutely free, and all you have to do is download and print from home. And, the best part is that everything you see here is really quick and easy to throw together! The Invitation, princess crown cake template, favor tags, magic potion tags, confetti, place cards, and more are all free and available for download here. It doesn't get any easier than that. They also have other fun free themed birthday printables as well . I raided my yard for some flowers. I threw these seeds down in the spring and am loving how pretty they are. Such a happy flower.
To make the princess crown cake, we simply used the cake template and followed the instructions here. I never thought to cut a simple 13 x 9 cake into a shape like this and it was fun. I probably could have been more of a perfectionist while making it, but my girl was helping and that was more important to me. Overall, it was pretty easy. Ella can't wait to give it to her friend for her birthday.
This sparkly vanilla cereal treat is ridiculously addicting. I got the recipe from the book, Birthdays, by Betty Crocker. I made it in under ten minutes, and I thought it was adorable in the favor boxes I showed up above.
The little drinks are just those cheap sippers you can find at any grocery store or gas station. I just used ribbon that I had on hand to attach the tags.
There are also party planning sheets and other resources that you can download to help you plan your parties. You can definitely tell that this site was designed with parents' input because it is so user friendly and all-inclusive. The Birthdays book I told you about had a bunch of different themes (not just princesses) and I can't wait to try some of the other recipes!
I find that we are clinging to these beautiful Fall days and spending a lot of time just being together outside. This was such a fun little project for us to do together.
This girl. I hope she always looks at herself this way. I hope she always twirls. I hope she always knows that she is a princess.
Betty Crocker is giving away a fun gift basket that includes the cake ingredients, all printables printed out and ready to go, candles, cards, and so much more. The basket is seriously adorable. I pulled this picture off of my phone. Ella was so excited to see her party goods!
To enter the giveaway, just visit the Betty Crocker site (HERE) and see the rest of the adorable princess party ideas (oh my gosh, the food ideas are so adorable!) and then come back here and leave me a comment below telling me which part of this pack is your favorite!
The giveaway will close Sunday, 10/5 at midnight. Good luck!

Thanks for sharing these ideas! I'm planning a princess party for the end of the month so the timing is perfect, like your party! I love the Chex mix and tulle around the chairs.
