I don't know why, but every year at this time I start to crave cleanliness and organization. I think it has something to do with being cooped up inside because of the cold weather, but I start to pick apart my home. Even the little Junk drawer, clothing that my kids don't wear anymore, etc. start to really bug me. So, I have been on a mission to organize and declutter one little space each day. I started by making a list of all of the different areas in our home that I wanted to make more functional for our family and have been tackling them, one by one.
One of the many areas that I wanted to clean out was our little linen closet. I also wanted to make it more functional for our everyday needs and for the unannounced guests that we've been having more frequently.
One of the things that I wanted to add to our linen closet, which is right next to my kids' bathroom, was a tote to help with the everyday mess of having 3 kids under 5 years old. As any mom of potty training littles knows, the bathroom can get messy multiple times a day and I have found myself getting frustrated going back and forth with cleaning supplies from across the house.
I wanted something a little more quick and easy, so when Clorox reached out to me to try their new Scentiva line (clorox + nice, pleasant scent- here's a Cartwheel coupon), which cleans, deodorizes and kills 99.9% of bacteria, I jumped at the chance. It seemed like the perfect opportunity to simplify my process a little and to save myself time those multiple times a day so I tried out both the spray and the wipes. The wipes are so convenient and I find myself using them the most often. I also appreciate the nice non-chemical smell (Tuscan Lavender and Jasmine & Hawaiian Sunshine) that makes the bathroom feel so much fresher while actually disinfecting and cleaning up after my kids.
I decluttered my entire closet to only hold the things that we need and donated or threw away the rest. I also added extra towels, toilet paper, linen spray, and extra pretty soaps for the bathroom just for those unexpected guests. It is so much easier to have it all in one place. I think it is the little things that make a big difference.

I think your closet looks very good. That's so true that bathroom can get messy multiple times a day when you have little children. I also keep my cleaning supplies organized in easy reachable place.

I love that. Organization really does save time down the road. I use and love clorox products. Good luck with your little ones.
