I have teamed up with World Market and Decorist to spruce up my living room for this post, and I can't wait to share the pictures and details with you today!
I find myself getting more and more excited for fall lately. The best part of Fall will, of course, be the sweet baby we are welcoming into our family. This pregnant girl also isn't handling the heat very well, and it has left me grumpy and looking forward to the cooler weather! I am also in full-on nesting mode, so this living room spruce up challenge from World Market and Decorist couldn't have come at a better time. I loved the romantic feel of many of their Fall items, so that is the theme that I went with in our living room.
I loved this beautiful rug and these french bistro tables from World Market, so I based the design of my room around them. Sometimes I think that making over a whole room can be a little intimidating to say the least. I usually start with one or two items, and then build my room around those. Here is the mood board I created using the couch I already have, and some decor from World Market's Fall line.

This gorgeous rug that I picked has mostly different shades of gray, cream and taupes, with little accents of a plum color. I have never really been a purple person, but I just fell in love with this rug when I saw it. It is so soft and pretty and neutral. It is really so pretty in person.
I flanked both sides of the sofa with these cute French Bistro tables and styled this one with these bottle carriers, flowers and candles.
My hydrangeas and lavender are in full bloom, so I grabbed a bunch to fill the adorable little bottles in these bottle carriers. We have been burning this candle every day too and it is a dream. I love it's citrus-y fruity notes. I will be honest, the cute typography of the label is what first drew me in. Is it just me? I am such a sucker for cute labels!
I love the feel of the space with my thrifted lamps flanking the sofa. It feels so much cozier and more intimate.
These French Bistro tables are so cute, and very sturdy. They hold up so well to my crazy toddlers.
On the other table, I used some vintage books I had on hand, and a fun little clock and framed bird print.
...with a hydrangea of course.

Everything is so beautiful! It all looks so cozy and inviting Kristen! That rug is #winning. And thank you for calling it plum... it is exactly that color (amongst the other natural tones) and I love love love it. Purples are not my friends, but plum? Yes ma'am! I think you found a keeper rug for the living room!
