This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and Hawaiian Host, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #HawaiianHoliday .
I love chocolate.
I mean, I reeeeeeeeally love chocolate.
So when this opportunity came to try out a couple of recipes using Hawaiian Host AlohaMacs, I JUMPED on it! Um... Chocolate... Macadamia nuts... I am IN!
I am very excited to share this recipe with you because it is delicious!!

There is something a little extra decadent and special about this bread pudding because it is made with the Hawaiian Host chocolates. It is perfect for a fairly quick and easy {and oh so fancy looking} dessert to add to your holiday menu or bring to a party.
DECADENT ALOHAMAC BREAD PUDDING
Ingredients
- 7 oz. 14 pieces Hawaiian Host Milk Chocolate AlohaMacs
- Hawaiian Sweet bread 16 oz. 1 lb. loaf
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 cups millk
- 2 large eggs
- 3 large egg yolks
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
-
Chop Hawaiian Host Milk Chocolate AlohaMacs.
-
In a large mixing bowl, whisk the cream, milk, sugar, vanilla, eggs, and egg yolks until well mixed.
-
Add the chopped Hawaiian Host Milk Chocolate AlohaMacs and the cubed sweet bread to the bowl, gently stirring to coat the cubes.
-
Set the mixture aside to allow the bread to soak, tossing periodically (about 30-40 minutes).
-
Place in 350 degree oven for about 45 minutes (test the bread pudding to make sure the top is golden brown and the inside is cooked, but not too dry).
-
Remove from oven – Spoon helpings into bowls and serve with whipped cream, ice cream or caramel sauce. Serves 10-12
