Wow, 2016 was such a fun, crazy, overwhelming, exciting, difficult, and wonderful year. I can hardly believe it is over and that we are in the first few weeks of 2017. In some ways I feel a huge sigh of relief for a new year. Mostly I am sad to see my sweet babies grow so much taller and bigger. Oh how I wish I could slow down the time while they are little. I feel so grateful to be their mama and for each day, each snuggle, each giggle, and each adventure I have with them.

As silly as this may sound, I decided that this year I was going to be brave. Whenever I doubted myself, I was going to practice being brave. When I felt scared to pursue a goal or dream, I was going to be brave. When I was wanting to reach out to collaborate with people that I have always admired and loved, even when I was a little shy and unsure of myself, I was going to make myself be brave. I am so overwhelmed by the result that simply being brave has had in my life and with my business. I feel so very blessed for these opportunities and experiences.
Favorite Project 2016- Office/Studio Makeover
I am continually humbled and thankful for the people I meet through this little blog of mine. You, dear friends, have always given so much warmth and encouragement and I hope you know how much it means to me.

Here are some of my favorite projects from this past year, but I am looking forward to new projects and ideas in 2017!
Favorite Flower Arrangement- Blackberry and Peach
Looking forward to 2017, I have a few fun things in store. We are working on a little Bonus room refresh (our family room + playroom). I am hoping to put the finishing touches on my kids' rooms as well. We will also be attempting to make our Laundry room a little more functional- it is a little ridiculous right now. As far as the shop goes, I will be launching my everyday and spring collections in February (I had originally said January, but we decided to purchase a fancy printer for our canvas prints, instead of sending away for them, and we will be waiting for that to arrive). The collection will include hand painted art prints, Farmhouse signs, PILLOWS, and more! I can't wait to share them with you!
Thank you again for this beautiful year, friends. I hope you are looking forward to 2017 with hope and excitement.
Here are some favorites from my friends in the Farmhouse Holiday Series, and I hope you get a chance to visit them to see their favorites from this past year as well as what they have in store for 2017. I know it will be beautiful.
