There are so many fun combinations of caramel apple toppings, so I thought I would compile a bunch of them all in one place for anyone who is making these heavenly treats right now and needs ideas.
First, my very, very favorite of all time.....
Apple Pie. Oh Yeah. I can't even begin to describe my feelings of love for this delicious treat. Sounds like I am crazy, I know... but remember I am 8 1/2 months pregnant and I have dreamt about these for my entire pregnancy!
Specialty Apples
Apple Pie Caramel Apple: caramel, white chocolate, cinnamon sugar
Cheesecake Caramel Apple: caramel, white chocolate, crushed graham crackers, cinnamon sugar
Double Chocolate Caramel Apple: caramel, semi sweet chocolate, drizzled white chocolate
Salted Caramel Apple: caramel, little pinch of sea salt or kosher salt
Cinnamon Streusel Caramel Apple: caramel, white chocolate, cinnamon mixed with brown sugar, pecans
Sweet & Salty: caramel, chocolate (semi sweet or milk), potato Chips, M&Ms
German Chocolate: caramel, chocolate (semi sweet or milk), pecans, coconut
S'mores: Caramel, chocolate (semi sweet or milk), crushed graham crackers, mini marshmallows
Chocolate Pretzel: caramel, chocolate (semi sweet or milk), mini chocolate chips, crushed pretzels
Baby Ruth: caramel, Peanuts, Chocolate
Almond Joy: caramel, Sliced Almonds, Chocolate, Coconut
Chocolate Peanut Butter: caramel, white chocolate mixed with PB (or melted PB chips),
drizzled chocolate (semi sweet or milk)
Oreo: caramel, white chocolate, crushed Oreos
Great Candy Combos:
caramel, M&Ms, drizzled with chocolate
caramel, chocolate, Snickers
caramel, chocolate, crushed English toffee, drizzled with white chocolate

Great Nut Combos:

walnuts (this is my second favorite kind of C.A.)

Pistachios (really good with white chocolate)
