Create a feminine outdoor Mother's Day tablescape with beautiful faux flower arrangements, copper accents, and the warm glow of candlelight.
I am so happy to finally feel the warmth of the sun and hear the birds chirping outside of my window. It is so refreshing to feel the wonderful spring after a long, cold winter. I had my sweet hubby pull out our tables and chairs from winter storage and we have already used them for a big family dinner out here in front of my shed.
This week, I couldn't wait to put together a little Mother's day tablescape with some items gifted by Balsam Hill, including these beautiful faux floral arrangements designed by my friend, Courtney, from French Country Cottage. Mother's day is the perfect time for an outdoor table because it isn't overly hot yet, and there are usually an abundance of pretty spring flowers.
This table has more of an elegant feel, but it was actually pretty quick and easy to put together. I started with my plain white dinnerware and layered on crochet-edged cloth napkins I have had for years. The copper accent- these copper tumblers- adds just the right amount of sparkle. The great thing about Mother's Day tables is that it is okay make them as feminine as you want- so copper and lots of flowers is perfect!
My sweet girl loves to help me with anything creative and I love seeing her in her element.
This beautiful artisan loaf is from my mom's cute bakery.
The copper accents make such a statement with almost an old world feel and I love this giant copper ice tub for drinks. The nice thing is that it is such a warm and pretty neutral that can be used with any other color scheme and throughout all of the seasons.
I do love neutrals, but when it comes to tablescapes, I think choosing flower arrangements that have a pop of color creates a really beautiful affect. Adding candlelight adds to the ambiance and creates such a cozy and welcoming environment for family and friends.
One thing that I do for every family dinner is to fill up a drink dispenser with water and usually some kind of sliced citrus or berries. This beautiful dispenser matches the other copper accents.
One of my favorite things about this warmer season is just how beautiful and peaceful it is out here once the sun goes down.
I loved putting together this Mother's Day table. It is one of my very favorite holidays. I love all of the homemade gifts and special little dinners.

My daughter is one of the most understanding and loving mothers I know. She guides her two children through life and lets them know constantly that they are loved. She gives them her full attention and uses her phone only when they are in school or in bed for the night, which is rare in this currant generation. I believe a lot of her techniques were developed by the education degree she holds. Our daughter is pregnant once again but had a lot of difficulty in the beginning. I know she would be moved if presented with such a beautiful Balsam Hill flower arrangement. We are so blessed with our daughter and her family❤️

I would love to nominate my mom. I know a lot of people say this about their moms, but my mom truely is the best mom in the world. She is such a blessing in my life and is so selfless and loving in everything she does. For the past 2 1/2 years, I have been battling with my health and the drs don't know why. It has been extremely hard and without God and my mom helping me, I wouldn't be able to handle it. She has been driving me to dr app's, picking up medicine for me, and helping me do everyday tasks with no complaints and with constant love and patience. She has worked so hard and has sacrificed so much for myself and my siblings. She deserves the world and more❤ Thanks for letting me share this ❤

My mom is so amazing. I could tell stories about how she cut up her favorite dress to make us clothes and doll blankets when money was tight or how she cut off all her beautiful hair when we were young because it took too much time away from doing mom stuff ( and she is too practical for that!). But what she’s done for me recently is pretty great: I broke my right leg 5 weeks ago and had to get surgery to repair it, and I’m a full-time college student (with three kids 9, 13, and 14 years old). She drove me to school everyday (for my 8am classes), stayed with me in my art classes to help. She would bring healthy food with her each morning to make sure I was eating right and then bring me home in the late afternoon or evening depending on my schedule. She kept gushing about how nice it was to spend time with me. I was able to pass all six classes and not have to drop out of school this semester because of her. I can only dream of becoming like her.

Gorgeous tablescape, as always. ???. Thank you for this chance to win! I’d love to tell you a little about my mom, as she is truly my hero. My mom married at the young age of 17 and immediately moved across the country away from the place she once called home. She would continue to move every 2 to 3 years for the next 26 years supporting my dad in the Marine Corps while they grew their family... nine children! My dad was stationed overseas a lot, which meant my mom was essentially a single mother raising all those children. To help make ends meet, she ran an in home day care, which meant MORE children. Haha! Our home was never quiet, that’s for sure. But I don’t know of a more nurturing and wonderful woman than my mom. It makes me teary to think of all she sacrificed for us kids. And wow did she make life magical... it was important to her for each of us to be celebrated on our birthdays, and she made every holiday so fun. She had a box of collectors pins that she would let us pick out to wear to school for holidays like Easter, Halloween and Christmas. That was so fun as a kid! And she would decorate our home for every holiday with creations her kids made. Growing up in the military can be scary, but my mom always made me feel safe and loved. It was a comfort to come home from school knowing she would always be there. I’m sorry this got long. I could go on forever about my mom. Haha! She truly is so great in my eyes.

I have a really great mother-in-law! She always puts everyone else’s needs before her own. And is pretty much the most selfless person I have ever met!
