Hello friends! I am back!
I feel like I have been running a million miles an hour lately, and it all concluded with my trip to the SNAP! blogging conference over the weekend. Holy cow, I feel like I learned so much.
Before I left, I had to get a bunch of stuff together and I wanted to do up a little bloggy bag for myself too. If you want to make one, it is super easy. First, I used a permanent fabric dye pen to write on my bag.
Then I embellished my bag with my stash of vintage trims and ribbons. I also tied a gorgeous old tatted hankie with the trims.
Easy, right?
So, ever since I returned from SNAP! my mind has been going and going and I was hoping to ask you some questions! For the most part, this is just my little creative journal and I blog about whatever I am working on at the time. But, I would LOVE to hear from you what you like to read the most.
Here are my questions for you:
What kinds of posts are your favorites?
(Ie. DIY, recipes, personal, seasonal decor, home decor, etc.)
What do you, or hope to, take away from reading my blog?
You can just leave your answers in the comments.
Thank you in advance!! You guys are the best!
P.S. I guest posted about my little easy party favor bags over at Creative Home Expressions. They are fun to make, so I hope you will go over for a visit!
Thanks again for answering my questions!!

What a gorgeous bag! You just gave me an idea on how to recycle old cloths in our closet. I'm sure my mom would love that.

I'm a huge fan of your blog. It's you who I turn to when I wanted to redecorate and beautify my Apartments in Scottsdale.

Hi Kristen, all of the above please. To me, that's what makes a blog so great...a little of each. That way the personality of the blogger shines thru. It's like visiting a friend, not just someone with a one dimensional personality. You're a sweet talented gal, love all of your posts!!

Oh sweet girl, I love every post you do, but you already knew that! I have to say that my favorites are the personal posts, where you share a bit of your heart, and anything that showcases your personal style, either with the bag you shared this morning, or your beautiful home. Your favorite recipes are a lot of fun to learn also. See, I told you that I love everything!!

I have been reading your blog for about a year or so now. And my favorite thing have definitely been your DIY home decor. I made your pumpkins, apples, hayrides sign a couple of months ago and have been counting down the days to fall so I can display it! I have also made your asparagus for my parents and siblings as well as my hubby and it was a hit! 🙂

First, thank you so much for guest posting while I was away, Kristen! Your post was a really cute idea that can be adapted to so many different parties and celebrations. Love your bag! It looks like the perfect size, too. As for posts, I like DIY, decor, seasonal, crafty projects. I kind of skip recipes because I have Celiac Disease and am gluten free. I see lots of delicious recipes but I can't eat them, so I skip them rather than having to feel deprived.

Hi, I love your blog! I enjoy your decor (seasonal and everyday) and DIY posts most. I LOVE photos and I do like your recipes as well!
Thanks for sharing your talents!
Sarah
Your blog is one of the few where I usually love everything you post. I'll admit, I'm not big on time spent in the kitchen, so while I enjoy reading the post and looking at the pictures, it's not something I really "take away" from your blog, in the sense that I plan on recreating it myself. Usually what I enjoy taking away is home decor ideas, possibly a DIY idea or two, that inspire me when doing my own projects. Hope that helps!

What a cute bag...luv the hanky! I like anything home decor and seasonal.
Blessings,

Good Morning, Kristen!
I enjoy reading a variety of subjects on blogs. The DIYs are useful information I may use at a later time or jump on a project the moment I shut my computer down. Home/season decor inspires my own decor ideals. Recipes make me hungry and inspire me to not be afraid of the kitchen. And personal posts remind me that maybe, just maybe some else out there is having issues similar to my own and it helps me realize I am not alone.
I always hope to (and usually do) leave your blog feeling inspired...in almost every way! 🙂
Andrea
I love a variety of posts, although home decor is what I love most!

Welcome back! Your bag is beautiful. I enjoy your DIY posts with LOTS of home decor posts too. I love seeing your rooms when you've redecoranged LOL or decorated for holidays/seasons. 🙂
Renata
