Fall tablescapes are my very favorite. There is something about the beautiful colors and textures, the coziness of family entertaining, and the delicious comfort foods that just makes my heart happy. I am sharing a very quick and inexpensive one with you today! The fun thing is that there is so much beautiful foliage right outside the door, so they are very easy and inexpensive.
If you are coming over from Bless'er House this morning, I am so happy to have you here. I am joining a few friends this week to share Autumn entertaining ideas just in time for Thanksgiving planning.
I know this sounds a little corny, but I have found myself with tears in my eyes a few times lately as I have been overwhelmed with the beauty of all of the Autumn leaves. It is my very favorite time of the year and I always feel a little sad when it is over. The rich colors are so spectacular and make the perfect centerpiece for a Fall table.
I started with a simple piece of flannel (1 yard) that I picked up at the fabric store a couple months ago. I didn't do anything to it except throw it in the drier to get some of the wrinkles out. It ended up being the perfect size for a table square and added a lot of coziness to the table. Plus, it was cheap and washable which is always a plus. Then I added pumpkins and candles to the middle of my table.
I went out into my yard and cut a few branches from our plum trees and from a random flower plant. I love how even though the flowers were dead on the stems, the leaves were still such beautiful colors. Certainly not perfect, but still lovely. I just stuck the branches here and there in between the pumpkins and candles. We layered on the rattan chargers, plates, silverware, napkins, etc. I always love the weekends when my sweet little helper loves to play and decorate with her mommy while the little boys are down for their naps.
This table was so quick and easy to set up. I think a big part of it is just having neutral dishes and napkins that you love on hand. Start to finish, the whole table only took about 15 minutes to throw together, so it would be super simple for Thanksgiving or just a lovely night in with the family.
Up next is the always lovely and charming French Country Cottage. She always creates the most beautiful spaces for entertaining.
And, here are a few more friends sharing today.

Such a creative and cozy Thanksgiving table setting! I love how you incorporated the leaves on the dinner plate to add a simple charm.
