Lets chat for a few minutes.
Lately I feel like I am busy and behind on everything all. the. time. I love my life. Love, love, love it. I am so thankful for my sweet family. My baby is 5 months old now and I have a total of 3 kids under 5. Needless to say, I AM busy all of the time, day and night. I only catch up on my work when the kids are napping or in bed at night so my days are very long. Oh so fun, but very long. Since the birth of my 3rd, I have had to implement a few little systems here and there to help simplify some things as well as help to practice a little self care. One of the things that I have done that has had the biggest impact is having wholesome snacks readily available to throw in my purse when I am running out the door, or to grab when I sit down to nurse the baby. Right after the baby was born, I found myself getting really run down because I was just so busy that I wouldn't eat anything all day. Not a good recipe for a postpartum mama. Taking a few minutes at the beginning of the week to make sure I have snacks ready has been a game changer for me. I have one basket in the house, and one basket in our garage fridge, so everything is really easy to get to.
I use these fun bags and smaller, easy to grab snacks to fill my basket each week. I am kind of a creature of habit, so some of my snacks were getting a bit boring. When this post opportunity came up to try the new GOOD THiNS snacks and spread the word that they are now officially available in the cracker aisle, I thought it would be a fun one to do. They have different flavors to spice things up (the varities include: GOOD THiNS Sweet Potato, GOOD THiNS Chickpea Garlic and Herb, GOOD THiNS Original Potato, GOOD THiNS Potato Spinach & Garlic, GOOD THiNS Rice Veggie Blend, and GOOD THiNS Sea Salt & Pepper). I grabbed a few at Albertsons, and I think my favorite so far is the garlic and herb. YUM. I just have my giant water cup all ready to go, and when I sit down to nurse the baby I have my water and GOOD THiNS. My kids keep stealing them from me though...
I would love to know what some of your favorite go-to snacks are!
