Sautéed Green Beans with Garlic and Parmesan

Healthy and delicious, perfectly sautéed green beans roasted with garlic and topped with parmesan cheese.

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic (about 2 cloves)
  • 1 pound fresh green beans
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 ounce grated parmesan cheese


  1. Wash green beans and cut off ends.

  2. Heat oil in a pan on the stove over medium high heat. Add garlic and sautee for 30 seconds, stirring frequently.

  3. Add green beans, kosher salt and black pepper, tossing to coat the green beans evenly. Saute over medium heat until crisp-tender, approximately 6-8 minutes, stirring frequently.

  4. Remove from heat and freshly grate parmesan cheese over the top.
