Cinnamon Apples

Delicious cinnamon apples baked in a slow cooker

Ingredients

  • 6-8 apples, peeled and sliced approx 3 lbs.
  • 2 T lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 T butter sliced

Instructions

  1. Peel and core apples. Cut into slices in a large bowl. Toss in lemon juice.

  2. Sprinkle with sugars, flour, and cinnamon. Toss until apples are coated.

  3. Dump apples into slow cooker. Top with sliced buter. Bake on high for 2 hours or until apples are softened, but not mushy.

Recipe Notes

I like to use a combination of Granny Smith and Pink Lady apples for the best flavor, but fuji and gala taste great as well.
