Funny Story. When I was working on putting the final touches on my She Shed, I had this one awkward corner that I didn't know what to do with. It just sat, empty, taunting me. Nothing that I thought of seemed quite right. Does that ever happen to you?
I played around with my little collection of vintage suitcases and I loved the way they looked stacked in this corner. I found a bunch of jars at an antique store for $1 a piece, and thought I would raid my mom's yard for some pretty flowers (that rose is the best smelling rose in the whole world). I still didn't know what to put up in the wall space though, so the night before we were going to take the pictures, I finally just decided that I needed to whip out a sign or something.
I got on my computer and designed this sign in about 5 minutes, and barely made it to the copy store to have a transparency made before they closed! I ran home and painted a board that I had in the garage using my overhead projector and paints that I had on hand. I put it out in the shed and (barely) had everything ready for the pictures the next morning!
It is pretty simple, but I think that I like its simplicity. Nothing like a deadline to make you get creative, quickly!
I can't seem to find the file for this template, so I think I may have accidentally deleted it. I will keep looking for it, just in case anyone wants to make this sign using my template. If not, it would be pretty easy to make on your computer and if you don't have an overhead projector, you can use my tutorial HERE to make your sign. I will update this post with the file if/when I find it!
