I am so excited to share a printable and tutorial for these giant shamrocks with you today! I love them and think they make such a big, fun impact on a wall for St. Patrick's Day.
They are pretty easy and fun to make. All you have to do is print, cut, tape and you are finished!
First, print off the green hearts (link at bottom of the post) or use the template to trace onto green paper. I had mine printed at an office store (on regular paper) so it wouldn't waste all of my ink. I am including files for small, medium and large ones in both the dark and the lighter green. You will need 4 hearts per shamrock.
Cut a small slit in the groove of the heart.
Flip the heart over and slightly overlap one of the humps of the heart onto the other, taping down with clear tape.
Repeat for all 4 leaves.
Place 2 hearts on the table, facing away from each other, with points touching. Stack two more on top and tape all of them together.
Roll a piece of tape and tack it in the middle.
Flip shamrock over and push down the middle.
Add stems and decorate to your little hearts content. I added stems to some and left others without.
You can download the files below. Please remember they are for personal use only.

I usually don't decorate much for St. Patrick's day, but I'm definitely going to do this! Love the idea and I never would have thought to use heart cutouts this way.
Very creative!
