Oh how I love fall- the warm colors, the cozy boots and sweaters, the football games, the cider. All of it.
I have dreams of having a large front porch and my very own pumpkin patch someday on a big piece of property in the country. But for today, I raided a local farmer's shop for the most beautiful fairytale pumpkins and made them right at home out here on our sweet little stoop.
I wanted to change up my door this year so I made a little DIY fresh wreath (tutorial coming) and added this preserved silal wreath from Trader Joe's with beautiful autumn colors over the top.
I didn't get around to writing on my chalkboard out here yet. Maybe I will, or maybe I will just wait until Christmastime and do something fun for the holidays.
I set out to buy white mums a few days ago, but I loved these deep, rich red and orange ones. They just felt so delicious and warm, and I ended up loving the way they paired with the muted pumpkins. I feel like my pictures don't do them justice.
I didn't have enough pots or buckets to hold all of my mums, so I just wrapped the buckets they came in with scrap fabric I've had on hand for years. I think I might add a plaid throw to the chair.
I just think pumpkins are so cute. Can you guess which ones my hubby picked out? I'll give you a hint- they probably weigh as much as all of my children combined. 🙂
The sun was quickly setting as I was taking these pictures. I am still trying to learn how to take pictures in low light, so I snapped a couple. It was so peaceful out here. I hope people feel that way when they come to my door.
Here are 15 more porches all cozied up for fall. I hope you get a chance to visit. I love how each is unique and so inviting!

I absolutely love it! My front porch looks to be just the same size as yours, and you made it look so charming. I've never been able to figure out how to make it work.

Love, love, love the picture with the light on. One of the first feelings I had when I saw this was peaceful and cozy - like coming home... great job!
