Oh how I love fall! The warm, beautiful colors just make me so happy. Today I am sharing a Thanksgiving tablescape with you along with a bunch of other friends as part of a hop hosted by sweet Bre from Rooms FOR Rent. You can start at the beginning of the tour here.
I wanted to focus on highlighting the beautiful colors so I used a neutral backdrop of my table and a burlap runner that i had on hand. I pulled out my mercury glass to juxtapose the natural elements and add a little sparkle.
At each place setting, I added a mini pie and single leaf. I wanted to write names on the leaves as place cards, but I couldn't find my silver pen. Next time :). And yes, I did forget to put out the silverware before I took the pictures. What can I say? I have a newborn and am a little sleep deprived. 🙂 Thats my story and I'm sticking to it!
I snagged leaves from the grocery store parking lot because they were just the most perfect color and sprinkled them all over the table along with some cranberries.
I love the warm glow of candlelight and I think it makes everything instantly more special.
Speaking of thanksgiving, I want you to know that I am so thankful for all of you who have been so supportive of this little blog of mine. I pour so much of my heart into it and it means so very much to me that you take the time to visit, comment, love, and support.
I know you will love the rest of the tablescapes on the tour today!

Very serene and elegant. Love it. I also love the mini pies at each place setting. My eyes were too busy admiring all the pretty details so I did not notice the missing flatware until you mentioned it. lol

Hi Kristen. I want you to know that I always find something either lovely or useful (or both) in your blog posts. I look forward to them very much. I find your comments and ideas positive and inspiring. Thank you.

I got excited when I saw your email come in today, and then even more when I saw it was you! I'm quickly becoming an addict to your ideas and style, and I was just thinking that when I clicked the link to go and read today. Funny you should be talking about how you too are thankful for us, on the same day. I also appreciate that you blog daily, or almost, because that must be tough to maintain, and that the emails actually come.
Congrats on your success!
