My heart is broken~

Over the weekend my sweet mother in law passed away very unexpectedly, and I can’t even begin to describe the sadness that we feel. The feeling of such overwhelming loss is weighing so very heavy on all of our hearts. My heart is broken.
Even sweet Ella keeps asking, “Where’s Gramamama?”
I am sure you will all understand, I will be taking a break from blogging for a short time. I have a post for later this week and a giveaway, but that is already done and scheduled.
I need the time to mourne, care for, and love my family.
I am grateful to know that she is in a loving and happy place. Now, more than ever, I am so thankful to know that we will see her again.
I never thought I would be writing an obituary at the age of 30 for one of my mothers. If you would like to read her obituary, you can find it here. She is truly one of the most loving and remarkable women that ever lived.

I’m so sorry to hear about this, Kristen! Death is so much more difficult to bear when our loved ones are taken from us when we least expect it. Praying for your family.

What a beautiful smile she had! Yes, take time off to love your family. May you all be embraced by the Lord’s comfort until you see her again.

Ohhhhh my friend!!! I lost my mom very unexpectedly at 28, just over a year ago. I sat in front of the computer for hours (which turned into days) trying to write her obituary. In the end, I never had the strength to do it…. I thought I would write it on the 1 year anniversary, but I STILL didn’t have the strength. The pain you and your family are going through is pain that I never wish on anyone. Hold tight, things will be ok, just put one foot in front of the other right now….

Kristen, I am so so sorry for your loss I too like many lost my mo-in-law at 26 it was sudden so we were greatly sadden at the loss. Keep up the faith, remember your daughter needs you to love her. As she gets older, show her picture and tell her stories of the wonderful mo-in-law she was, remember her always and never forget. Prayers to you and your family. Hugs

My heart breaks for you too! I lost my Mother a little over a year ago… it does get easier, you will think of her and smile and not cry after awhile! Tell you daughter about her, keep her alive in her heart. Talk about her with family and friends, some people think they shouldn’t and don’t know what to say, but it helps to just talk about her! I am sending my prayers to your and your family.
    Hugs,
    Pendra
