Who said trees were just for Christmas? I sure didn't! It may seem a bit unconventional but I love having a Halloween tree! I shared a few pictures of it during my Fall Home Tour, and I thought I would share more details today.
My sweet friend Blair has had a Halloween tree for several years and I love it. She actually has a fun black tree that she decorates. I didn't want to have to store another tree, so I thought it would be fun, a few years ago, to use my tinsel tree as a Halloween tree. I didn't put it up last year because it was so close to my due date with my little baby man, and I missed having it! It was so fun to put it up this year again!
For those who have asked about this tree, it is a 6 1/2 ft. tinsel tree and I got it at Walmart (I know... can you believe it!?) about 6 years ago after Christmas. I had my eye on it all season and got it for dirt cheap afterward. I love it and have used it for Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day, craft boutiques, and more. If I ever see them for sale again, I will let you all know!
I found the cute piano key ribbon at Craft Warehouse this year. It was the perfect addition to my tree. All of the other ornaments and ribbons were, for the most part, from previous years. Many were handmade and repurposed. The nice thing about having a tree is that putting all of my small decorations in one place makes a bigger impact than if they were spread out all over the house.
I love Halloween. It is so much fun.
