There were a bunch of people that were interested in the template for the little flying bats on my mantel, so I wanted to pop in and share the pattern with you! You can download and print it out below.
My kids loved this quick and easy little project and it added such a big impact to our mantel. It would be so fun in other places too- on an accent wall, around windows, flying up the stairs, and more.
To make your own bats, just download and print the templates, cut them out and trace onto black cardstock with a pencil. Then just cut them out.
I used scotch tape at first to put them up on the wall, but I ended up having to reinforce a lot of them with masking tape. It is holding up a lot better than the scotch tape did.
It is a fun, inexpensive and whimsical project.
You can download the large bat template from my mantel HERE. The smaller one for the mantel was from my bat tree post HERE.

Happy Haunting! 🙂
