Hello! Today my friend Melissa at 320 Sycamore is hosting a fun Favorite Things 2015 party and she asked me to share a few of mine! I hope these give you some ideas for holiday home decor and gift giving. These are my very favorites, so I know you will love them!
Christmas Ribbon- I am a bit of a ribbon hoarder and I love the red and cream/white ones for Christmas. I especially love May Arts ribbon like this, this, this, this, this or this. And here are my favorite Christmas tree ribbon tips.
Favorite Food Boxes- I buy them at a local restaurant supply store, but these look very similar. I use these all the time to drop off goodies to friends, give small presents, and send leftovers home from dinner parties and barbecues. I love them because they are cute all on their own, so I just wrap a pretty ribbon on them and call it good. They are a must-have to have on hand.
Favorite Christmas Recipe- Rocky Road Fudge or homemade caramels. They are both family recipes and my 5 siblings and I all love them. Definitely winners!
Favorite Christmas Tree Decorating Tips- One of my most popular (and favorite) posts is How to Decorate a Christmas Tree (includes sources). I love decorating Christmas trees. It is one of my very favorite things to do!
Favorite thing to cook with- ever. Staub Cocotte 5.5 qt. Things that would burn in a normal pan don't seem to ever burn in here and it cooks everything so evenly and deliciously. Love, love, love.
Favorite Mixer- Bosche Stand Mixer. It easily makes multiple loaves of bread, shreds potatoes for hashbrowns (with shredding attachment), makes huge batches of cookies and more. My parents surprised us girls with them for Christmas a couple years ago and it has been my very favorite gift.
Favorite everyday dishware- We have been using these Gibson dishes every day for over 8 years now and they are still going strong. They are pretty strong and resilient and I love the white with a simple pattern. (Recipe for these Chocolate Cranberry Blissful Bars)
Favorite Heirloom quality wooden spoons from Polder's Old World Market. LOVE them, their family, their brand, and the fact that they hand carve each piece from wood that has fallen on their property.
Favorite Christmas Cards- Minted. We have ordered Minted cards the past couple of years and they are always so beautiful!
Favorite Free Printable Gift Wrap and Tags- these printables have 8 different free printable wrapping papers and matching tags.
