I love decorating for any holiday, and of course I love cute vintage Easter decor! I like to add subtle touches here and there around my home. Today, I have one to share with you... and a free printable banner for you to download! I am so excited to be doing the 12 Months of Martha, and will be using some of the Martha Stewart basic crafting supplies. I used the adorable graphics from The Graphics Fairy to create this banner.
Print out your banner HERE. I made 3 copies of this sheet so my banner would have 6 pennants, but you can make as few or as many copies as you would like to make yours. Please remember this is free for personal use only.
I used my Martha Stewart paper cutter to cut out each of my pennant flags. This kept my lines nice and straight because goodness knows when I just use scissors, it usually looks like the work of a preschooler.
For this project, I also used the Martha glittering glue, as well as the white glitter in her glitter 24-pack.
I lightly spread patches of the Glittering Glue on different areas of both the lamb and bunny pennants. I wanted to give them that little bit of fun vintage sparkle. On a side note, this is the only glittering glue I use... so any of the projects where you have seen me using glass glitter or other glitters over the past couple of years, I only use this and never have a problem with it coming off later like so many other adhesives.
My lovely little Ella was thrilled to help with the glittering! She poured on the glitter and then I dumped off the excess. I used a handy watercolor paper underneath to catch all of my extra glitter.
It was hard to catch in the pictures, but the glitter gave each little animal a fun little vintage touch. I love this look. The glitter makes it feel so much more festive and special.
I cut slits in the top on the left and right side of each pennant with a craft knife and strung twine through to create my banner. A hole punch would also work well.
Pretty easy, right? I love how adorable and vintage they are. So sweet.
I hope you enjoy making your cute banner too! My babies love the sweet animals and I love the sweet, simple vintage Easter feel!

Thank you so much for sharing this design. With everything closing down, I didn’t know how I was going to put together Easter decorations for my sons 3rd birthday on Easter this year.

So charming. I don't get into easter decorating much because I am not a huge fan of all the colors. But this . . . I could totally do. Perfect vintage charm.
