A couple of years ago, when Ella was a newborn, my sister and I thought it would be fun to put together a little outdoor Fall tablescape. She is a professional photographer (you can visit her here), and I am far from it, so it was fun to ask her questions and get pointers while we took pictures. These are the pictures that I took. I shared a few of them a couple years ago, but I got to thinking about them this week and I thought I would share them again for a little Autumn tablescape inspiration. For more inspiration, at the end of this post I will be sharing a bunch of gorgeous tablescapes that you can go check out.
I included various gourds, strawberry corn, persimmons, and cranberries for added warmth and color. Most of the furniture and antiques are my mom’s. She is used to me doing crazy things {and stealing stuff}. This on my parent's property, my childhood home, and it was so perfectly Fall outside.
I had never eaten a persimmon before. I had a cabbage patch doll when I was little and her name was persimmon, but I never knew what they tasted like. It wasn't anything like I thought it would be, but very delicious. I think they are so lovely.
When the dusk began to set in, the candles glowed and it felt very peaceful. I love the time of year that lends itself to warm colors, delicious spices, and soft candlelight.
I feel oh so very thankful.
I hope you visit these lovely bloggers and their wonderful Thanksgiving Tablescapes as well :
