I had a lot of fun putting together my Valentine tinsel tree!
I love holiday decorating!
It is hard to get good shots of a tree, and unfortunately our week of overcast weather
didn't help. But, it was really fun to try.
Ella loves to sit and look at the lights while I feed her. How fun it must be for
a baby to sit and look at lights and the pretty colors of a tree!
Some of the ornaments are handmade, and some are store bought. I made these Xs
and Os using the tutorial found here. Then I painted a layer of black and a layer of
creamy white and distressed them with steel wool so the black would show through.
I got these vintage postcard images off of the graphics fairy blog {I LOVE her blog}.
I just printed them off at Office Depot and glued them to paper-covered
cardboard rectangles. Then I embellished them with red glitter, pipe cleaners
and bookpage pinwheels.
In the background, you can see my chalkboard. I am a little obsessed with
"coloring" on my chalkboard! It is so fun to change it up.
Above is the close-up shot of the chalkboard that I posted yesterday.
I hope you have a Valentine's Day filled with love!
To all my family and friends,
I {LOVE} you dearly!
I thought I would link up to THIS fun party...
