I made my hubby scones this morning for breakfast.
With fresh, homemade whipped cream.
And fresh picked raspberries.
Yum.
We picked a bunch of raspberries while we were visiting my in-laws a couple of days ago.
My mother in law has the most amazing garden and the raspberry bushes were just dripping with raspberries. I think I ate as many as I ended up putting in my bucket. Yes, straight off of the vine.
My hubby, Ella and I have been eating them ever since.
One of the many tastes of summer.
Just like Peonies, I look forward to when raspberries are in season. Isn't it funny how the things I look forward to the most are so fleeting? In a way, I think it is a good thing. It makes me stop, take a deep breath, and really admire the beauty of this life I have been blessed with.

The best parts of summer ARE fleeting. Enjoy every minute - eat every berry you can and snuggle with that baby of yours. Happy summer!
Such gorgeous photos! (You've got this blogging thing down!) You have a lucky family that gets this special treatment.
