Am I the Only One Who Decorates My Yard Sales?

 

Last weekend I had a yard sale during our annual neighborhood yard sale.  Someday I would love a quiet house on some land in the country, but there are things I love about living in my cute little neighborhood too. Yard sales and Trick or Treaters are among them. There was a neighbor of ours that owns a mobile hamburger and french fries trailer that he had up and running {really, really yummy}. Also, a family that owns a cotton candy machine had a little cotton candy stand. It was so fun and had that wonderful small town feel.

My adorable babysitter came to help with my yard sale. She was so much help and I was so glad to have her there. My sister laughed at me and wanted to know who the heck decorates their yard sales with buntings! : ) Doesn't everyone!? Ok... maybe not, but it worked! Almost every single thing I had out there sold. We had such a good turn out that my driveway was packed with people the majority of the day. Plus, there is something that makes me kind of happy seeing my buntings swaying in the wind, silly as it may be. : )

I barely snapped these pictures during a short a lull between crowds, so a lot of stuff was gone already. Setting up for a yard sale is always hard work, so I was pretty relieved to see almost all of it sell by the end of the day.

This week I snapped a few pregnancy pictures of my sister out in my parents field, and threw a baby shower for her as well. Either this weekend, or maybe Monday, I hope to share both.
