I am working on making a pair of these {adorable} Pottery Barn linen ruffled pillows for my bed.
I am redoing our linens to layers and layers of lush all white pillows and bedding.
To me, there is something so luxurious about a bed with all white linens.

These pillows are not as easy as they look! Do you see that little extra piece of gathering and extra space between the big ruffle and the the main part of the pillow? It is not just an extra seam, sewn on top of the main ruffle; it is an entirely different. small ruffled piece of fabric! I figured out the logistics of it, now we will see how it goes with the actually sewing of it! I thought about leaving it out and just making one big ruffle, but I think it is so pretty. I guess if it turns out to be too hard, then I will rethink it again
Also, I am having a yard sale this weekend! So, I have been busy, busy cleaning and decluttering. It is amazing how much random stuff gets accumulated over the years!
I hope you are having a great week!

Hi Kristen, I love those ruffled pillow cases, I had actually considered buying them for my master bed, but just couldn't pull the plug on all, and ended up buying just one, that I put right in front of all the others. Can't wait to see how yours turn out, I would love to make some myself, so I will be patiently waiting to see yours. Hope you have a wonderful week.

Can you make me some too??? :)
Hi Kristin, I was googling information on how to make my own linen ruffled shams and I came across your blog. Do you have a tutorial for that or a pattern? I am glad that I found your site. You definetly inspire me! Jackie
