I had the honor of arranging the flowers for this spectacular vintage inspired wedding. The bride, Lindsey, also asked that I gather up some of the antiques from my home to use as props for the ceremony and reception. To see how I make these vintage book page pinwheel banners, click here.
This is a little peak at some of the flowers I used in my arrangements. I wish I had gotten a picture of my entire dining room because it looked like a flower bomb went off in there!
She did a really great job planning out all of the little details. These programs with the little birds on them were really cute. I brought one of my antique ice cream parlor stools to set the basket on.
This was one of my favorite people that I met over the weekend. She is Lindsey's grandma and she is one of the sweetest, funniest, loveliest, most charming ladies. I particularly loved that she wore gloves to the wedding and it made me want to wear them too.
The handsome groom was excited to see his beautiful bride. There were so many flowers at this wedding, that I don't think I have one picture without them in it. I loved putting together the combination of whites on whites, with an accent of the greens.
I love how elegant the bridesmaids looked in their black dresses. And I love this picture of them watching the bride walk down the aisle.
The handsome groomsmen....
The one looking at me is particularly handsome!
(my hubby(: )
The flower girl was one of the most adorable little girls I have ever seen! What a sweetheart. She loved her little bouquet and her poofy pink dress. What little girl wouldn't?
Here is a shot of the Maid of Honor holding the bridal bouquet during the ceremony.
Mother of the Bride...
This adorable ring bearer had his very own mini boutonniere.
All along the aisle, there were shepherd hooks with hanging mason jars filled with flowers. I used regular old bailing wire from Lowes to hang them.
I have plenty more vintage inspired goodness, the beautiful bride, coctail hour, and the reception to share tomorrow!
