An Easter Tablescape

Hi, I am back!
I thought I would post a few pictures of my
evening Easter tablescape for two
and my yummy little bird nests.

We had the most beautiful Easter evening. Warm with a light breeze.

I had so much fun making these yummy little nests.
I got the recipe from here.

I used the Dark Chocolate Cadbury Eggs for my eggs.  My wonderful
and thoughtful hubby got them for me. He knows me well!
They are my new favorite treat. YUM!
And, I think their colors are so pretty

I wanted to do my own take on Easter and spring colors.
I am more drawn to rich colors and neutrals instead of the traditional pastel colors
and I thought that these antique plates were a really pretty way to do this.

I love any excuse to use my vintage dishes and linens.

It is still springy, but a little more 'me.'

The wonderful lemons in our water came all the way from California.
My grandma sent them to me; I am such a lucky girl!
These lemons are one of the very best things in this world. I have memories of eating
them right off of the tree when I was a kid.
The funny thing is that I craved them more than anything else while I was pregnant with Ella.
And grandma kept them coming. Yes, I was/am spoiled.
I like to think that they had something to do with my baby girl being so beautiful :)

Speaking of the angel baby, here she is in her Easter dress today.
She was more interested in playing with the blanket than taking pictures.
Oh, how I love those kissable cheeks.

Happy Easter my friends!
I hope you had a wonderful day

I am linking up to this fun party over at Dear Lillie
